In short: Body Fat Measurements is an offline-first health and fitness measurement and calculator app. No account is required. Data stays on your device by default. If you optionally sign in with Google, measurement history only may sync to our servers over HTTPS. We do not sell personal data, show ads, or use third-party analytics SDKs in the app.

1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Fit Life Regime (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the Body Fat Measurements mobile application (the “App”). The App helps you estimate body composition and related fitness metrics (for example body fat percentage, lean mass, BMI, waist ratios) using tape-measure, caliper, and calculator methods for personal fitness tracking.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Information we collect
The information we process depends on how you use the App.
2.1 Health and fitness information (stored on your device)
- Measurements you enter (height, weight, age, sex, neck, waist, hip, skinfold readings, and similar inputs)
- Calculated results (body fat %, fat mass, lean mass, BMI, WHtR, WHR, FFMI, and related outputs)
- Measurement method, date/time, and optional notes
- Optional progress photos linked to a measurement date (device storage only)
2.2 Tool calculator data (stored on your device)
Saved results from in-app tools (BMR, TDEE, protein target, goal planner, BMI, FFMI, WHR, WHtR, and similar) are stored locally on your device. Tool snapshots are not uploaded to our cloud sync service in the current version.
2.3 App settings and preferences (stored on your device)
- Units, theme, default method, goals, reminders, favorite tools
- Optional saved calculator inputs (“remember my inputs”)
- Health Connect on/off preference
2.4 Account information (only if you sign in)
If you use optional Google Sign-In for cloud backup, we receive information needed to authenticate you, such as:
- Your Google account email address and account identifier
- Authentication tokens stored securely on your device
The App works fully in guest mode without an account.
2.5 Information we do not collect
- Precise GPS location
- Contacts, SMS, or call logs
- Advertising identifiers for ad tracking (the App does not show ads)
- Third-party analytics or crash-reporting data via dedicated SDKs (none are integrated in the current version)
3. How we use your information
We use information only for legitimate app functionality, including to:
- Perform calculations and display results you request
- Save and show measurement history, charts, and tool results
- Apply your preferences and optional reminders
- Export or import data when you choose
- Back up and restore measurement history when you sign in and sync
- Write authorized fitness data to Health Connect when you enable that feature
- Maintain, secure, and improve the App
- Comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests
We do not use your data for targeted advertising or sell your personal information.
4. Local storage
By default, measurements, tool snapshots, preferences, and optional progress photos are stored locally on your Android device. Data remains on your device unless you export it, delete it, enable cloud sync, or enable Health Connect.
5. Optional cloud backup (Google Sign-In)
Cloud backup is optional. If you sign in and sync:
- Synced: measurement history (inputs and calculated measurement results)
- Not synced: tool calculator snapshots, app preferences, progress photos
- Server: https://bodyfatapi.fitliferegime.com/ (HTTPS)
- Timing: when you tap Sync or during periodic sync while signed in and online
Signing out removes authentication tokens on your device but keeps local data. You may delete your cloud account in Settings; server account data is removed while local data remains unless you delete it separately.
6. Optional Health Connect
If you enable Health Connect in Settings and grant permissions, the App may write records such as weight and body fat percentage to Health Connect after you save a measurement. This is disabled by default. Health Connect is operated by Google/your device platform and is subject to its own policies and your permissions.
7. Progress photos
Optional progress photos are stored locally on your device only and are not uploaded to our cloud sync service. Deleting a measurement or using Delete All Data removes associated local photo references from the App.

9. How we share information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share information only as follows:
- Google: if you use Google Sign-In, per Google’s authentication policies
- Our backend: if you sync, measurement history is transmitted to and stored on our servers
- Health Connect: if you enable it and grant permissions
- Your chosen apps: if you export, share PDF, or use Android share features
- Legal: if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security
- Business transfer: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice where required by law
10. Data retention
- Local data: until you delete records, use Delete All Data, or uninstall the App
- Cloud data: while your account exists until you delete your cloud account or request deletion
- Auth tokens: removed when you sign out
11. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal information. In the App you can:
- Use the App offline without signing in
- Delete individual measurements from History
- Delete all local data: Settings → Delete All Data
- Export data: Settings → Export (CSV or JSON)
- Import data: Settings → Import (JSON)
- Sign out of cloud backup
- Delete cloud account: Settings → Delete cloud account
- Disable Health Connect and notifications in Settings

12. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information, including HTTPS for data in transit and secure on-device storage for authentication tokens. No system is completely secure; please protect your device and Google account credentials.
13. Children’s privacy
The App is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
14. International users
If you use optional cloud sync, your measurement history may be processed on servers operated by Fit Life Regime. By using optional sync, you understand information may be transferred to countries other than your own, with safeguards described in this policy.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated in the App where appropriate. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
